Technology
We have included two subjects here; Design and Technology and Information Technology. Both involve creative and technical skills and will often lead to the solution of problems and the design and manufacture of a something "made".
Design and Technology includes a number of related subjects like Graphic Products, Food, Textiles, Resistant Materials, Electronics and Systems and Control.
Like Science, many courses in IT allow study to different levels. At a foundation level you are likely to focus on looking at basic IT application and function in common use. You would consider the impact on your own life and society in general. More advanced courses are likely to allow you to focus on a particular use of IT like multimedia computing, graphics and the world wide web often related to business and industry.
